HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.9636 of 2017 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed with the following relief:

" seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent in not registering the F.I.R. basing on the complaint dated 10.12.2016 though the said complaint discloses the prima facie cognizable offence, as illegal and contrary to law; and consequently direct the third respondent to register the said complaint as F.I.R., conduct investigation and take appropriate action in accordance with law."

2) At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, the Government Pleader for Home (AP), on instructions, submits that the concerned Police have not received the complaint dated 10.12.2016 and if such a complaint is brought to their notice, definitely they will take action.

3) Recording the statement made, the petitioner is directed to furnish copy of the complaint dated 10.12.2016, before the concerned Police, in which event the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law.

4) With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 19.06.2017 gkv
