Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri N.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel for respondents submits that unless petitioner's services are regularised, PRC cannot be made applicable. He also disputes that the petitioner has been given last grade pay scale vide proceedings dated 20.05.1998. Since the grievance of petitioner by way of representation dated 02.04.2018 is pending before the competent authority, it is for the competent authority to pass orders.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
