When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, as the fine amount imposed by the respondents was paid by the petitioner, pursuant to the interim order granted on 11.02.2010.

In view of the said submission, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
