This petition is filed seeking transfer of F.C.O.P.No.444 of 2017 pending on the file of V Additional District and Sessionscum-Family Judge, Visakhapatnam to be tried along with F.C.O.P.No.296 of 2017 pending on the file of I Additional Family Court-cum-IV Additional District Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor for first respondent and counsel for the respondents 2 & 3.

The ground on which the transfer is sought for is only the convenience of the petitioner. The respondents 2 & 3 are residing at Visakhapatnam. Hence, there is no valid reason for seeking transfer of the case from Visakhapatnam to the Court at Ranga Reddy District, except the reason that the petitioner is staying at Hyderabad. Transfer of a case cannot be sought for to suit the convenience of the parties.

Hence, the Transfer Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
