THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11365 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner complaining that investigation is not even commenced into the case in Crime No.38 of 2018 on the file of Bowenpalli Police Station, Hyderabad City, though it was registered on 01.02.2018.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Mohd. Osman Shaheed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. I have perused the material record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) endorses the said submission.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to expedite the investigation into the aforesaid crime and file a final report before the concerned Magistrate by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
