HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.25462 of 2003 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring that the action of the 1st respondent contained in Order No.AP/3729/Exem.Cell/2003/1002 dated 11.09.2003 calling upon the petitioner to pay arrears of Provident Fund contribution amounts, without obtaining prior consent of the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction u/s 22 of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985, is arbitrary and illegal and direct the respondents to forbear from recovering any amount from the petitioner or from the amounts payable to the petitioner by its principals such as M/s. B.S.N.L.
towards arrears of provident fund contribution amounts, without obtaining prior consent of the Board for industrial and financial reconstruction." During the course of hearing, Sri T. Balaji, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents, placed on record letter dated 15.07.2013 addressed to the previous Standing counsel with reference to the present writ petition.
A perusal of the said letter would indicate that the total dues from the petitioner are recovered. In the light of the same, no further orders are required.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
