THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 4941 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering his application for release of benefit under the projects exclusively for Scheduled Caste candidates.

2. The case of the petitioner, precisely, is that he belongs to Scheduled Caste community and on coming to know that the 2nd respondent has issued a notification for funding projects exclusively for the Scheduled Caste Candidates for the financial year 2014-15, he submitted online application to the 2nd respondent for commencing the business of Tent House with catering unit, sound system. The 3rd respondent has released the list of shortlisted candidates, but the name of the petitioner was not listed. The petitioner alleges that the names of candidates recommended by political leaders and social activists were mentioned in the list, and the status of his application also was not informed.

3. In the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. ___________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 17th March, 2015 ksm
