THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.5879 OF 2O2S ORDER:

This criminal Petition is fired under Section s2g of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,2023 (for short "BNSS") by the petitioners/accused Nos.2 and 3, to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.6g of 2025 dated 15.03.2025 on the file of Bhadrachalam Town police Station, Bhadrachalam. The offences alleged against them are 0( under Section 85 of BNS and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri M.vivekananda Reddy, learned Assistant public prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner No.2 is a Government employee presently residing with petitioner No.2 in official quarters located at Manuguru and also contended that the allegation that the petitioners have ability to torture and kill the de facto complainant's parents is false and devoid of any merits and requested to quash proceedings against them. 4.

In view of the said submission, the police are directed to follow the procedure laid down under Section 35(3) of BNSS and also the guidelines formulated by the Hon,ble Supreme Court in Arnesh

a :al Kumar u State of Bihart scrupulously. Needless to say, the petitioners shall assist the investigation and sha11 appear before SHO as and when required, for the purpose of investigation. The Poilce are also directed to conclude investigation. 5.
