Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Sri Y.Rama Rao, learned Standing counsel for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority-Respondent No.2. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2 . The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the letter bearing Lr.No.26/RTI/Plg/ SHZ/HMDA/2014, dated 22.03.2014 issued by respondent No.2 as per se illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to receive and process application for issuance of the building permission to the petitioner for construction of a farm building comprising of Stilt Ground Plus First Floor on land admeasuring 200 square yards out of the total land admeasuring Ac.1.00 Gts., (4840 square yards) in Sy.No.229/AA1 and Sy.No.229/AA2 situated at Galvaguda, Hamlet of Gollapally Khrud Village, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without passing any order, respondent authorities returned the application made by the petitioner seeking permission for construction of a building comprising of Stilt Ground Plus First Floor.

4. Sri Y.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that the petitioner's application was not received and if such an application is there, the authorities will

definitely consider the same.

5. In view of the above and without going into the merits of the case, the present Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to send a fresh application by Registered Post with acknowledgement due to the authorities concerned, who in turn shall consider the said application, in accordance with law, and pass reasoned order, as early as possible preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of such application by the office of the 3rd respondent. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
