Heard learned counsel for petitioner and also learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies representing respondents 1 to 3 and perused the prayer in the writ petition with the supporting affidavit and impugned order dated 28.04.2017 of the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Jammalamadugu, which is practically suspension of Fair Price Shop authorization of the petitioner pending enquiry without stipulating any time. 2) It is stated that as suspension of the Fair Price Shop authorization of the petitioner pending enquiry and finalization of proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, is uncalled for since pendency of Section 6-A proceeding has nothing to do with the suspension of Fair Price Shop authorisation of the petitioner. In fact, the law is fairly settled in this regard including from the Division Bench expression in M.Shashikala vs the District Collector (CS), Mahaboobnagar District and others1.

3) Having regard to the above and to sub-serve the ends of justice, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Jammalamadugu, to pass final orders in the 6A proceedings initiated against the petitioner within three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 1 1997 (2) ALT 574
