THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.22165 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent - Divisional Engineer-Electrical, OP Division, TSNPDCL, Warangal in disconnecting the power supply on 06.07.2016 and not restoring the same to the Apartment Building blocks constructed by the petitioner in house bearing D.Nos.2-434/2, 2-434/e, 2-434/4, 2-10-299, 2-10-289, 2-10-290 and 2-10-291 of Waddepally Village, Hanamkonda, Warangal District, as illegal, void and consequently direct the second respondent to restore the supply forthwith.

Heard Sri E.Manohar, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, the learned Standing Counsel for T.S.TRANSCO.

It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation dated 07.07.2016, the second respondent has not restored the power supply to the apartment.

The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has produced the Occupancy Certificate issued by the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation as directed by the second respondent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2016 and provide service connection to the Apartment Building blocks constructed by the petitioner in house bearing D.Nos.2-434/2, 2-434/e, 2-434/4, 2-10-299, 2-10-289, 2-10-290 and 2-10-291 of Waddepally

Village, Hanamkonda, Warangal District and release the power. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
