These writ petitions are filed seeking a direction to the official respondents to provide proper support to the petitioners and their family members in the event of they being attacked by any of the customers of the society whenever situation warrants.

The petitioners in these two cases are family members of the accused in Crime Nos.193, 212 and 213 of 2018 registered on the file of Police Station, Shankarpally, which are stated to be under investigation after being transferred to CID.

Learned Government Pleader for Home would submit that in the event of the petitioners upon entering into the village being faced with any attack or manhandled by any person by taking the law into his hands, they are at liberty to approach the official respondents and lodge a complaint against such person, which shall be duly taken cognizance by the authorities.

Recording the said statement, the writ petitions are disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any in these two cases, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR Date:15.10.2019 GJ
