THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.13739 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed alleging that e-passbooks are not issued to the petitioner in respect of land to an extent of Acs.2.25 guntas in survey No.261 situated at Mengaram Village, Lingamjpet Mandal, Kamareddy District, even though an application was made.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that photocopies of the e-passbook are issued. But, so far physical copies are not furnished. While agreeing with the said statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader submits that the e-passbooks are given for printing and therefore the e-passbook could not be furnished to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is unable to apply for the benefits under various schemes evolved by the State Government relying on the photocopies.

In view thereof, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Government to issue e-passbook to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. In the meantime, it is open to the petitioner to apply for the benefits under various schemes based on the photocopies of the passbook furnished to her. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
