THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.22305 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents more particularly the third respondent in disposing of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.6.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3-Telangana State Power Distribution Company Limited.
3. The case of the petitioner is that by misrepresenting the respondent Nos.2 and 3, some third parties have obtained electricity meter vide service No.X202703, USC No.110540908, in respect of house bearing Door No.18-7-198/A/313/2/2 situated at Murad Mahal, Talabkutta, Hyderabad. The petitioner submitted a representation to respondent Nos.2 and 3 on 27.6.2016 to take action in this regard, but they have not yet taken any action.
4. The learned standing counsel submitted that the respondents have no objection for disposal of the representation. In view of the submission made by the learned standing counsel, the third respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.6.2016, after affording reasonable opportunity to the persons affected as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
