THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Contempt Case No. 359 of 2016 Order:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order of this Court dated 20.04.2015 passed in W.P.No.5713 of 2015 directing the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the respondent Corporation to take appropriate decision for providing suitable employment to the petitioner keeping in view the earlier orders passed by him on 13.12.2013 in the case of one Smt. D. Satyabhama and communicate the same to the petitioner.

In the Contempt Case, learned counsel for the respondents produced before this Court a copy of the order passed by the Regional Manager, Kurnool on 11.08.2016 rejecting the case of the petitioner. At that stage an objection was taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the order directs the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation to take appropriate decision, the order was not passed by him but was passed by the Regional Manager. Today, when the case is listed, a copy of the order dated 20.09.2016 passed by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation is produced rejecting the case of the petitioner for the reasons stated therein.

In view of the order passed by the competent authority who was directed to take a decision, this Court sees no ground to continue the contempt proceedings.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs. The miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
