This writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the respondents in regularizing the services of the petitioner in the category of Assistant Divisional Engineer (E.1) with effect from 01-10-2010 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.J.Koteshwari Devi for the respondents.

It is stated that the petitioner submitted a representation through Divisional Engineer, Operation, Kadiri vide letter dated 08-01-2016 in respect of his grievance in the writ petition and basing on the same, the proceedings in Lr.No.SE(O)ATP/P.O/Adm/S-1/D.No.2579/15, dated 18-02-2016 were forwarded by Superintending Engineer to the 2nd respondent and the same was pending.

In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and take action within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
