O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Station House Officer, Marikal Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, the second respondent, is not providing protection to him despite the injunction granted in his favour by the learned Junior

Civil Judge, Narayanpet, in I.A.No.10 of 2004 in O.S.No.2 of 2004 and the order dated 23.09.2004 passed by the learned Junior Civil Judge, Narayanpet, in I.A.No.150 of 2004 in O.S.No.2 of 2004 granting police protection to secure compliance with the interim injunction order granted earlier. The petitioner seems to have made a representation in this regard on 20.07.2015 to the second respondent. Sri M.Damodar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the suit is still pending before the trial Court and the interim injunction order is also subsisting.

Though the order granting police protection was passed as long back as on 23.09.2004, the Police were directed thereunder to provide protection to the petitioner and to prevent the respondents in the said IA from interfering with his peaceful possession and enjoyment over the suit schedule property. In the event the said order is still operating, the Police are bound to comply with the direction of the competent civil Court and take necessary steps to secure compliance with the injunction order. The second respondent shall accordingly act upon the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2015 and take all possible measures to see that the injunction order granted by the competent civil Court in favour of the petitioner is complied with.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
