O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any action in pursuance to the representation dated 26.03.2016 even after lapse of almost three weeks as being illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India as well in negation of principles of Promissory estoppel consequently direct to consider and dispose of the representation within a time frame, and pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper."

The petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2016 ventilating his grievances with regard to the substandard works executed is awaiting consideration by the authorities concerned. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition for the purpose of adjudication on merits. It is for the authorities concerned to consider the petitioner's representation objectively and take appropriate action thereon, if warranted, in accordance with law. The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the authority concerned to consider the representation dated 26.03.2016 and take appropriate action thereon in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
