CVNR, J & MSKJ,J WP 17265/2017 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce one Palaketi Srinivasulu, S/o. Venkatashivudu ("the alleged detenu") before this Court and set him free. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (AP) on instructions submitted that the alleged detenu was arrested on 24.05.2017 and produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate on the same day and that he was remanded by the Magistrate to the judicial custody. As the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present to dispute this submission, we have no reason to doubt the veracity of the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
