In this Writ Petition, the petitioner challenges notice dated 17.01.2019 to pay property tax for the period from April, 2002 to March, 2019 computed as Rs.81,264/-.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that if reasonable time is granted, petitioner would pay the property tax, as demanded by the Municipal Corporation.

In view of the fair submission of learned counsel for petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting 12 weeks time to the petitioner to pay the entire amount quantified by the Municipal Corporation. The entire amount quantified shall be paid in four equal installments and the first installment shall be paid within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the balance three installments shall be paid at the intervals of three weeks thereafter. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
