Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner and possessor of lands in survey No.747, admeasuring Acres 3.45 cents and survey No.763, admeasuring Acres 6.57 cents, situated at Hosur Village, Pattikonda Mandal, Kurnool District, having received the same from his sister by way of an unregistered gift deed, during her life time. While so, the sister of the petitioner died on 03.01.2017 and except the petitioner, there are no other legal heirs, as such, the petitioner made an application for mutation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of pattadar passbook and titile deeds, through mee-seva on 24.03.2018 and according to the petitioner, no action has been taken so far on the said representation.

Since it is contended by the petitioner that he made an application in Form VI-A to the Tahsildar and the same is pending before him, the Tahsildar, Pattikonda Mandal, Kurnool District, is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his application and pass
appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petition pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed as consequence.
