THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11649 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the grievance of the writ petitioner is in respect of nonregistration of a crime pursuant to the complaint/report, dated 30.12.2017, lodged by the petitioner with the Station House Officer, Town Police Station, Yemmiganuru Mandal/5th respondent herein, against the 6th unofficial respondent.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Dadi Radha Krishna, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.), appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the complaint, while complaining about the illegal acts of the accused mentioned therein, protection is also sought by the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 19.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that no complaint, dated 30.12.2017, is received in the Police Station; that on 11.04.2018 at 11.30 hours, the writ petitioner came to the Police Station and lodged a report; that basing on the said report, the 5th respondent registered a case in Crime No.39 of 2018, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 506 and 509 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and the said crime is being investigated into.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, as no further cause survives for adjudication. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
