This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.3 in not extending affiliation to petitioner No.2 college for imparting M.Sc. (Nursing) Programme despite grant of approval by respondent No.2 as illegal and arbitrary. At the hearing, learned counsel for both the parties have submitted that in pursuance of the interim order, dated 26.09.2012 passed by this Court, respondent No.3 has granted affiliation to petitioner No.2 college for the academic year 2012-13, that for the subsequent academic year, no such affiliation has been granted and that therefore, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

For the above-mentioned reasons, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of Writ Petition, WPMP.No.38440 of 2012 filed by the petitioners for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
