This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to set aside the proceedings, dated 18.06.2007, of respondent No.2, suspending the petitioner's driving license for a period of six months i.e., from 01.05.2007 to 31.10.2007.

At the hearing, Mr. Ramakrishna, learned counsel representing Mr.E.Madan Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, has submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 3.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. 4.
