Shorn of details, learned counsel for the petitioners contends that in response to the show cause notice, dated 27.07.2017, issued by the 5th respondent alleging violation of provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 (for short, 'the Act'), petitioners filed explanation on 04.09.2017 and the said explanation is received by the authorities, however, without considering the explanation and passing final orders, as a consequence to the show cause notice issued, respondent authorities are threatening to dispossess the petitioners from the subject land, compelling the petitioners to invoke the jurisdiction of this Court.

Having regard to the fact that in response to the show cause notice issued on 27.07.2017, an explanation was already filed by the petitioners, the Tahsildar, Kalla Mandal, West Godavari District (Respondent No.5) is directed to examine the explanation filed by the petitioners and take appropriate decision as warranted by law by showing reasons in respect of the decision and till the decision is made and communicated to the petitioners, respondents shall not take coercive steps against the petitioners.
