...RESPONDENTS Petition under Article 226 ol the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased lo issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Wrlt of MANDAMUS to declare the action of respondents in not considering the claim of the applicant for granting of notional seniority/notional promotion in the cadre of Superintendent from the date of arising of vacancy w.e.f 03.04.2017 is illegal arbitrary and unconstitutional consequently direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for granting of notional seniority/notional promotion in the cadre of Superintendent from the date of arising of vacancy w.e. f.. 03.04.20'17 with all consequential benefits including monetary benefits.

In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner herein for granting of notional seniority/notional promotion in the cadre of Superintendent from the date the vacancy has arisen i.e., w.e.f . 03.O4.2017.

l,earned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has made detailed representations on 21.11.2022 and 28.0L.2O23 for the above relief, but the same have not been considered by the respondents so far.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-ll appearing for the respondents, is heard.

Having regard to the rival -contentions and the material on record, this Court deems it ht and proper to direct the respondents No. 1 and 2 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 2 1. ll.2022 and 28.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a
