THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT W.P. No.8595 of 2017 ORDER:

No representation for petitioners.

Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners complain against the action of respondents in not accepting the applications under G.O.Ms.No.58 and 59, Revenue (Assign-I) Department, dated 30.12.2014, notwithstanding the representation dated 31.01.2017, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

The Assistant Government Pleader submits that the cut off date stipulated in G.O.Ms.Nos.58 and 59 is 12.11.2016 and the applications submitted subsequent thereto, cannot be considered by the authority. He draws the attention of the Court to the representation and submits that this Court ought not to issue direction beyond the period stipulated by the respective Government orders.

I have perused the record and prima facie, this Court is of the view that the applications submitted beyond time cannot be attended to and a further

direction is issued to consider the cases of petitioners under a policy implemented by the Government. Writ petition fails and accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
