THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 14180 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard both sides.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: " ....to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of fourth and fifth respondents in not issuing No Objection Certificates to petitioners to start D.E1.Ed., B.Ed., and D.P.Ed., colleges and for additional intake as required by second respondent for submission of applications to second respondent for grant of formal recognition for the academic year 2016-2017 as arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the fourth and fifth respondents to issue No Objection Certificates to petitioners to start D.EL.Ed., B.Ed., and D.P.Ed., colleges and for additional intake as required by second respondent for submission of applications to second respondent for grant of formal recognition for the academic year 2016-2017."

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners informs the Court that the matter has become infructuous for the reason that the relief sought is for the academic year 2016-2017.

Taking the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
