There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue a Writ Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents No.1 and 2 in not initiating any action against respondent No.3 as she is working in the Police Department and the respondents No.1 and 2 showing departmental bias towards the 3rd respondent as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently to direct the respondents No.3, 4 and 5 to allow the petitioner to see his son Master Ted Eamon Rora, aged 13 years to keep telephone contact with his son in Hostel, and provide medical aid to his son whenever necessary and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

From the date of filing of the writ petition, the matter was listed on 02.06.2014, 09.06.2014 and 27.11.2019. Since the petitioner is not prosecuting the matter diligently, the writ petition was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' on 02.12.2019. Today, in spite of the matter listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. From this, it appears that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter diligently. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
