Ch. Vikram Reddy v. The State Of Telangana, Home Department
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32811 of 2015 ORDER:
The complaint of the petitioner was that the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, did not issue him a police licence for running his business in the name and style of M/s.Q9 LOUNGE at Ghatkesar, Ranga Reddy District. The petitioner states that he submitted application dated 19.09.2015 in this regard. A consequential direction is sought to the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, to issue the said licence.
The Sub-Inspector of Police, Ghatkesar Police Station, Cyberabad Police, furnished written instructions dated 29.10.2015 to the Office of the learned Government Pleader for Home stating that upon the petitioner's application dated 19.09.2015, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Commissionerate, asked the police authorities at Ghatkesar to enquire and report. Thereupon, the Ghatkesar police caused enquiries and obtained necessary documents from the petitioner. However, it was found that the petitioner did not have necessary certification from the District Fire Officer and therefore, the Ghatkesar police did not recommend his case to the Cyberabad police Commissionerate.
Sri K.Naganna, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner is now in a position to make good the deficiencies in his application.
In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to apply to the police authorities concerned
with full particulars and documentation in support of his application dated 19.09.2015. If the petitioner is found to have made good the shortfalls as pointed out by the Ghatkesar police authorities, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, shall consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon.
Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
