THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4479 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the petitioner/A-5 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1460 of 2009 on the file of the IV Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Warangal, Warangal District.

2. Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. The offences alleged against the petitioner are punishable under Sections 420, 468 and 471 I.P.C.

4. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case pertains to the year 2009 and though the petitioner is regularly attending the Court below, the witnesses are not attending the Court below and hence, the case is not proceeding further and therefore, he prays to give a direction to the Court below for expeditious disposal of the C.C.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the trial Court is directed to dispose of C.C.No.1460 of 2009 pending on its file as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
