Father of the petitioner worked as Dhobi in Government Ayuvedic Hospital, Toopran, on contingent basis. Before his services were regularized, he died on 28.01.2016. By placing reliance on the Government decision in G.O.Ms.No.118 dated 18.08.1999 petitioner submitted representation on 09.11.2016 addressed to the Senior Medical Officer, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Toopran, Medak District, to consider him for provision of employment on compassionate grounds. Alleging inaction on the representation and not providing employment to the family on account of untimely death of his father, this writ petition is filed. 3.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government pleader represents that since a request is made and the same is pending consideration, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to pass orders on the said representation within a fixed time frame. 4.

Having regard to the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Senior Medical Officer, Government Ayur Hospital, Hyderabad (4th respondent) to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner by assigning reasons in support of his decision and communicate the same to the petitioner. A decision to this effect shall be taken and communicated to the

petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
