HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.24945 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in taking action on the proposal sent by the Commissioner for Co-operation & Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Hyderabad in Rc.No.14791/2012, dated 21.8.2012 as wholly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Co-operation (Telangana).

3. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation dated 28.6.2012 to the Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Agriculture, Marketing & Co-operation Department, Hyderabad requesting to withdraw C.C. No.78 of 2005 pending against the petitioner on the file of the court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Andolu, Jogipet, Medak District. The Special Chief Secretary in turn sent the representation to the Special Chief Secretary to Government, Agriculture and Co-operation (Co.op IV) Department, A.P. Secretariat, Hyderabad vide Rc.No.14791/2012, dated 21.8.2012.

4. The only request of the petitioner is to direct the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 28.6.2012.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 28.6.2012, as forwarded by the Special Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Co-operation Department, vide Rc.No.14791/2012, dated 21.8.2012, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
