HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.V.SESHA SAI W .P.No.1 1 8 0 5 of 2 0 1 8 ORDER: - Heard Sri Babuji Tenneti, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioners, as advocated by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, is that the respondent-authorities are proceeding with the process of passing the award under the Act without considering the objections, dated 07.03.2018, submitted by the petitioners. The respondent-authorities issued a notification under Section 11 (1) of Act 30 of 2013 for acquisition of certain lands, for extension of National Highway between Kodad and Khammam, including the lands of the petitioners herein. It is evident from the said notification, which is filed along with the Writ Petition as material paper, that the respondent-authorities called for objections from the land owners under Section 15 of the Act, within a period of sixty days. According to the petitioners, they submitted the objections on 07.03.2018.

It is submitted, during the course of arguments, by the learned Government Pleader that if any objections are filed by the petitioners herein, as stated above, the same will be considered by the respondent-authorities and appropriate further action will be taken strictly in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-authorities to consider the objections filed by the petitioners, dated 07.03.2018, before

proceeding further with the process of acquisition. However, it is made clear that the respondent-authorities are entitled to proceed strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
