THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.29382 of 2012 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed by a Member of Rajamani Heights Welfare Association holding the post of General Secretary. It is his case that building was constructed in the year 2000 and 16 Family Units are residing in it. The building was granted Water Pipe Line of one inch vide proceedings dated 14.03.2007. When the Water connection was disconnected on 22.02.2012 without issuing any notice, the petitioner paid the outstanding amount of Rs.7,800/- and also approached the 2nd respondent for reconnection of the water supply. When the reconnection was not made, the present Writ Petition is filed.

After hearing the parties, it came to light that the petitioner was using one inch water connection unauthorisedly and in view of the inconvenience caused to the residents, the 3rd respondent was directed to provide one inch connection for the apartment complex in question subject to the petitioner complying with all the required formalities and paying the necessary amounts as per Rules, by order dated 24.09.2012.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, none appeared for the petitioner.

Learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent submits that the unauthorized water connection is being continued and the petitioner did not approach the 3rd respondent
for a regular connection in accordance with the Rules. He further submits that the petitioner is not paying water charges. 5.
In these circumstances, if the petitioner has not complied with the order, dated 24.09.2012, passed by this Court, it is open to the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
