The court made the following: [order follows] WRIT PETITION NO. 29036 OF 2016 O R D E R :

Vide this writ petition, the petitioners seek mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioners forthwith for the construction of compound wall to the land of the petitioners admeasuring Ac: 8-00 guntas situated in Revenue survey No.

157/1, Thokatta village, Tirumalgiri Mandal, Secunderabad Cantonment, Hyderabad district, in pursuance of their application dated 07/8/2015 duly acknowledged by the Office of the respondent on 13/8/2015 and reminder application dated 19/7/2016.

2. Sri N. Sridhar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that for the relief sought in the writ petition, the petitioners made application on 07/8/2015 duly acknowledged by the Office of respondent on 13/8/2015 and reminder application dated 19/7/2016. However, till date the said application has not been yet decided.

3. Keeping in view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, I hereby direct the respondent to take decision on the representation filed by the petitioner keeping in view of the order dated 04/2/2011 passed in WP.No. 1447 of 2011 and Lr.No.B2/278/2010, dated 01/02/2010 issued by the Office of the Collector, Hyderabad district addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Secunderabad Cantonment, Hyderabad and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The decision taken by the respondent shall be communicated to the petitioners within one week thereafter.

4. In view of the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. No costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
