ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Medical & Health appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for registration of Genetic Counseling Centre as per the provisions of the Pre-Conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Procedure (Registration & Prevention of Misuse Act, 1994) before the 2nd respondent, who, in turn, granted certificate of Registration in Form-B to the centre upto 27.12.2016. The petitioner has been running the said centre under the name and style of M/s.Pushpa Maternity & Nursing Home situated at D.No.16-2-145/A/9, Judges Colony, Malakpet, Hyderabad. While so, the 2nd respondent inspected the premises of the petitioner on 29.9.2016 and seized the machinery alleging that the petitioner has not been properly maintaining Form-F record. A show cause notice dated 29.9.2016 was issued to the petitioner stating that she was using banned drugs and asking her to submit explanation within 6 days, for which, she submitted her explanations on 3.10.2016 & 4.10.2016 stating

that there was some deficiency in maintaining the records and that she would meticulously maintain the same in future. When no action was taken by the 2nd respondent, pursuant to submission of the explanations by the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.

Notice Before Admission was issued on 2.2.2017 and thereafter, the matter was adjourned twice. In spite of letters of the learned Government Pleader on 6.2.2017 and 27.2.2017, there was no response from the 2nd respondent. In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the explanations submitted by the petitioner on 3.10.2016 & 4.10.2016, in accordance with law, pursuant to the show cause notice dated 29.09.2016, within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
