wp_35677_2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of habeas corpus directing respondent Nos. 4 and 5 to produce Mohammed Yousuf Khan (hereinafter referred to as 'the detenu'), S/o Mohammed Ghouse Khan, illegally taken into custody by the said respondents.

A counter affidavit is filed by respondent No. 4, wherein it is inter alia stated that the alleged detenu is an accused in crime No. 977 of 2016 of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offence under Sections 384 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code on 19-10-2016 based on a complaint given by one Md. Alam, that in connection with the said crime, the said person was arrested by respondent No. 4 on 20-10-2016, that after complying with the formalities of arrest, he was produced before VIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Rajendranagar on the same day and that the learned Magistrate remanded him to judicial custody. It is further averred that pursuant to the remand order, the alleged detenu was lodged at Central Prison, Cherlapally, R.R. District, and he was subsequently enlarged on bail on 21-10-2016. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the light of the aforementioned facts and the release of the detenu from custody, the grievance of the petitioner stood redressed.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
