THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9557 of 2009 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ, order, or direction declaring the action of respondent No.1 in rejecting the application of the petitioner without conducting inspection and in not granting recognition for the establishment of a College for Teacher Education at Vinukonda, Guntur District as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and contrary to the provisions of the N.C.T.E. Act and the regulations made there under and consequently set aside the orders of respondent No.1 in F.AP/SRO/NCTE/2009-2010/11898 dated 21-04-2009 directing respondent No.1 to grant recognition to the petitioner's college for Teacher Education at Vinukonda, Guntur District to run D.Ed. courses."
It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner as well as the respondents that new regulations have been framed by the National Council for Teacher Education for consideration of the applications for establishing colleges for teacher education and in view of the same, it is open to the petitioner to apply afresh in accordance with the regulations.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
