THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.4119 OF 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/A-9 & A-14 under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code apprehending their arrest in connection with Crime No.29 of 2018 on the file of Yerpedu Police Station, Tirupati District, for the offences punishable under Sections 143,144,147,48,354,324,323,506 r/w 149 IPC, Section 3(1)®(s) & Section 3(1)(w) of SC/ST POA Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing for sometime, requested this Court to direct the police to follow the guidelines formulated by the Apex Court in "Subhash Kashinath Mahajan v. State of Maharashtra and another1". Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct the police to follow the guidelines prescribed in Subhash Kashinath Mahajan case. With the above direction, the petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. No costs.
