THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3915 of 2019 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition, under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/accused, for grant of bail in S.C.No.27 of 2018 on the file of the II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State and perused the record.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that this is the second bail application of the petitioner/accused. His earlier bail application was dismissed by this Court vide order, dated 04.02.2019 in Crl.P.No.54 of 2019. No change of circumstances are brought to the notice of this Court to consider this bail application. Furthermore, the gravity of offence is high. Under these circumstances, this Court declines to consider this bail application.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State submits that the trial in the Sessions case is fixed from 19.07.2019.

In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of this order. _______________________ JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI 18.07.2019 ssp
