HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION Nos.12397 and 12421 of 2017 COMMON ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners is that respondents are attempting to demolish the houses in Municipal No.11-24-436 situated at Pochamma Maidan, Warangal District, without following due process of law. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that, if the land of the petitioners is required for any public purpose, due process of law would be followed without depriving their rights.

Ms Pingali Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1 - Warangal Municipal Corporation, on instructions, submits that, since junction is being renovated, petitioners, on mere apprehension that their houses would be demolished, approached this Court; and no steps, as at present, are being taken for demolition of the subject houses.

Recording the submission made by learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1 - Warangal Municipal Corporation that no steps are being taken for demolition of the subject houses, the Writ Petitions are disposed of at the admission stage.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
