HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.3858 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.105 of 2010 on the file of XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that after completion of investigation, police filed the charge sheet before the learned XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, on 21.11.2019 vide SR.No.12633 of 2019 and C.C. number is still awaited.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the crime is of the year 2010, the trial Court may be directed to allot the CC number and commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to number the charge sheet vide SR.No.12633 of 2019 (FIR No.105 of 2010) for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 427 r/w 149 IPC and Section 3 of PDPP Act by allotting C.C. number and the trial Court is also directed to commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these directions, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
