This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.849 of 2011, against the petitioners, who are A1 to A6, on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, South Zone, Hyderabad dated 10.09.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal of the accused.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J September 14, 2018 DSK
