HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No. 5445 of 2011 O R D E R:

This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the police authorities in

interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners even though no crime was registered against them.

The Sub-Inspector of Police, Miryalaguda II Town Police Station, Nalgonda District, filed a counter affidavit denying that there was any interference with the life and liberty of the petitioners. He also denied that they were ever threatened or summoned to the police station or detained there. No reply affidavit was filed by the petitioners rebutting the counter averments. In that view of the matter, no cause survives for consideration in this writ petition, which is accordingly closed taking note of the stand put forth by the police authorities in their counter.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
