Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not renewing the authorization of the petitioner, as arbitrary and illegal. Petitioner is the temporary dealer of fair price shop No.42, Chintapalli Village, Karampudi Mandal, Guntur District. His authorization was extended by the respondents from time to time. On 10.06.2014, the petitioner made an application for renewal of his authorization. But, the 3rd respondent did not consider the same. Hence, the petitioner filed W.P.No.20666 of 2014. This Court vide order dated 6.8.2014 directed the respondents therein to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with law. Accordingly, the respondents considered the application of the petitioner and renewed his authorization, which is in force till 31.1.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner made another application on 19.1.2015 for further renewal of his authorization and the same is pending consideration. The inaction on the part of the respondents in

considering the said application is questioned in the present writ petition.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the application was filed on 19.1.2015 seeking renewal of his authorization, so far no orders have been passed by the respondents.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.1.2015 for renewal of his authorization and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
