THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI CONTEMPT CASE No.45 of 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, alleging willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed on 07-10-2015 in W.P.No.32683 of 2013. By way of an order, dated 07-10-2015 this Court disposed of the writ petition, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for releasing the Maintenance Grant, in accordance with the relevant provisions of law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. When the matter is called today, a memo bearing No.104858/PS/A2/2015, dated 18-02-2016 issued by the State Government has been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader, wherein the Government accorded sanction for an amount of Rs.8,44,129/- towards maintenance grant arrears in respect of fourteen (14) Aided Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Prakasam District.

In view of the above developments, nothing further survives for adjudication in the matter.

Accordingly, the contempt case is closed and the respondents stand discharged.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
