THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.20520 of 2011 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is being heard at the admission stage.
The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not disposing of the Case No. F2/6742/2008, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the respondent to dispose of the said case at the earliest. The Government Pleader on instructions submits that the appeal No.F2/6742/2008 was already disposed of on 07.01.2012 and also submits that the Writ Petition has become infructuous as the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
In view of the representation made by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand dismissed.
