THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.10676 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of certiorari quashing the order and decree passed in E.O.P.No.5/2006 on the file of Election Tribunal-cum-Junior Civil Judge, Sathyavedu in Chittoor District dated 06-05-2009 by calling for the connected records and declaring the same as illegal, unjust, arbitrary, against statutory provisions and the Election Rules, unsustainable without there being any evidence warranting setting aside of the election of the petitioner as Sarpanch, Nagalapuram Gram Panchayat in Chittoor District." 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition. 3.

Recording the said submission and also in view of the fact that the matter pertains to the year 2009 and on 29.05.2009, this Court already granted interim stay in the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
