UMA DEVI WRIT PETITION No.11933 of 2018 ORDER: (Per V.Ramasubramanian, J) The petitioner, who has completed MBBS and who has applied for admission to Post Graduate Medical course for the academic year 20182019, has come up with the above writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to accept the social status certificate that she already possesses and not to insist upon a fresh social status certificate.

2. Heard Mr.D.V. Nagarjun Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.Tadi Nageswara Rao, learned standing counsel for the University takes notice.

3. Admittedly, the issue is covered by a decision of a Division Bench of this Court in W.P. No.23509 of 2016 dated 26.07.2016. Therefore, following the same, this writ petition is also disposed of directing the respondents not to insist upon a fresh social status certificate, but to go on the basis of the social status certificate that was issued to the petitioner on 28.06.2014, so long as the same is not cancelled and consider her case for admission into the Post Graduate course according to her own merit but as a candidate belonging to the community reflected in the social status certificate.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
